Farid Mohammed

Farid Mohammed was appointed to the role of CEO of Digicel Fiji in March 2020 after serving as the CEO of Digicel Samoa for 3 years. Prior to moving to Samoa, Farid was the Chief Financial Officer for Digicel Fiji for 4 years. He has been with Digicel for over 14 years across the Pacific Region in various management roles. 

Farid has extensive experience in Finance, Commercial and Operations extending from Mobile, through to TV, Business Solutions and of working in competitively challenging markets. Farid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia and is a qualified accountant. He is a member of CPA Australia and was also part of the Wharton Leadership Program organised by Digicel. He is currently pursuing his MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Farid has been an advocate for developing local talents and has a 100% local management team in his Fiji Operations.
