By submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Digicel Fiji Community Grant Initiative, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility:
The initiative is open to communities, organizations, and groups within Fiji’s Central, Western, and Northern regions.
Only one entry per community or organization is allowed.
Project Selection:
Three grants of $16,000 each will be awarded—one for each region.
The project must be relevant to the community and demonstrate a positive, lasting impact.
Budget:
Each project is capped at $16,000 FJD.
Applicants must provide a clear, detailed budget estimate.
Any costs beyond the grant amount must be covered by the community.
Evaluation Criteria:
Projects will be evaluated based on community impact, feasibility, sustainability, inclusivity, and creativity.
The decision of Digicel Fiji’s evaluation panel is final.
Project Timeline:
Projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant.
Any delays must be communicated to Digicel Fiji for approval.
Permissions & Compliance:
If applicable, applicants must obtain any necessary permissions (e.g., planning permission) before starting the project.
Digicel Fiji is not responsible for any legal or regulatory issues.
Sustainability:
Applicants must show how their project will continue to benefit the community after the initial funding is spent.
Documentation & Promotion:
Digicel Fiji will document the project through photos and videos to showcase the impact on the community.
Applicants consent to Digicel Fiji using these materials for marketing, communication, or reporting purposes without additional approval or compensation.
Applicants will be required to send progress updates throughout the project and submit a final report upon completion, detailing the outcomes, community impact, and financial spending.
Reporting:
Regular updates on project progress are required.
A final report must be submitted upon project completion, detailing the outcomes and financial spending.
Disqualification:
Digicel Fiji reserves the right to disqualify any project if false information is provided or if the project does not adhere to the agreed plan.
Force Majeure:
Digicel Fiji is not liable for any delays or issues caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters or pandemics.
Privacy:
Personal data collected during the EOI process will be used for project evaluation and communication purposes and will be handled according to local data protection laws.
Amendments:
Digicel Fiji reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
