How can I get 5% of my cash back?
To get 5% cash back the MyCash user must do a deposit of 1,000VT or more or do a payment to a MyCash Merchant account of an amount of 1,000VT or more to receive 5% cash back.
What is the limit amount to receive 5% of your cash back?
Minimum amount is 1,000VT and maximum is 5,000VT. Eligible transactions below 1,000VT and above 5,000VT will not reward you your 5% of your Deposit or Merchant Payment transaction.
What happens if I do a deposit or merchant payment less 1,000VT or more than 5,000VT?
If transaction is less 1,000VT and more than 5,000VT, no bonus 5% cash back will be received
Will accumulative transactions reward 5% cash back?
No, accumulative transactions do not apply. 5% is rewarded per eligible transactions only.
e.g. if you do a deposit of 500VT twice same day, 5% cash back does not apply
Does the 5% cash back apply only when a deposit is done to your own MyCash account or to any deposit transactions? E.g. a deposit to a friend or family MyCash account?
5% cash back applies on eligible deposits to your own MyCash account as well as deposit done to a relative or friend MyCash account.
e.g. If I do a deposit of 1,000VT to my relative MyCash account, he/she will receive 50VT as 5% cash.
What happens if I do a deposit or Merchant payment that results with 5% cash back being an odd number?
When deposits or merchant payment are done that results in 5% of the deposit or payment being odd, this will be rounded off to 5VT because of the VATU denominations that starts with 5VT and it will be in intervals of 5, 10, 15…etc
e.g. a deposit of 3,645VT, the 5% cash back amount is 182.25VT. This will be rounded off to 180VT. Therefore, customer will receive 180VT cash back to their MyCash account
Is there any limit per transactions per day?
- Yes, 5% cash back is limited to 5 transactions per day meaning you can only receive cash back 5 times in a day
- As per the MyCash terms of use, we have a transaction limit of 10 per day. This is overall transactions which includes deposit, IMT etc.
- Note that 5% cash back is also treated as a ‘transaction’.
- When you reach 10 transactions per day and try to do another deposit, the Telepin platform will not allow any further deposit on your account and the Sales Agent will receive below pop up message. Other transactions to be done the next day.
Is there any fee when a payment is done to a MyCash merchant?
Currently there are no fee when a payment is done to a merchant account.
Does the promotion apply to international money transfer?
No, IMT is excluded from this promotion. Eligible deposit is within the country and from local MyCash Agents
Does money transfer apply to this promotion?
No, receiving money from another MyCash user through the option ‘Send’ on the MyCash App does not apply to the 5% cash back promotion.

2. Promotion Period
The Promotion starts on Tuesday 17th December 2024 and ends on Friday 31st January 2025 (Promotion Period).
3. Eligibility
- The Promotion is open to all active and registered MyCash users.
- The Promotion does not apply to International Money Transfers (IMT).
4. Cashback Details
- Customers will receive a 5% cashback on any single deposit of 1,000 VT or more made into their own MyCash account, or to their relative MyCash account, up to a maximum of 5,000VT per transaction.
- Customers will receive a 5% cashback on any single payment of 1,000 VT or more made to a MyCash merchant, up to a maximum of 5,000VT per transaction.
- The 5% cashback is applicable per qualifying transaction and is not cumulative.
- Accumulative deposits or payments that amount to 1,000 VT do not qualify for cashback; each transaction must individually meet or exceed 1,000 VT to qualify for the 5% cashback.
- The maximum cashback per qualifying transaction is capped at 250VT (5% of 5,000VT)
5. Transaction Limits
- There is no limit to the number of qualifying transactions a customer can make during the Promotional Period.
- There is no daily limit on the number of deposits or payments eligible for cashback during the Promotional Period.
- Transactions daily limit is of 10 per day as per the MyCash Terms of use.
6. Exclusions
