Digicel in partnership with the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) today launched the first e-commerce platform in Tonga called BeeHive.

The BeeHive e-commerce platform will offer Tongans a new marketplace that will make purchasing different and life easier for customers.

The launch lays an important foundation for the development of an inclusive digital economy in Tonga, particularly with regard to providing equal opportunities for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. Digicel identified a challenge and put in the time and effort with the full support of the UNCDF to come up with a homegrown tech solution that will benefit thousands of Tongans.
