Digicel and Frankie Unveil Better Shopping Experience
Digicel Samoa and Frankie Supermarket have teamed up to introduce a groundbreaking digital innovation in Samoa. Customers can now use their mobile phones to scan and pay for their shopping at Frankie cashiers, thanks to the Digicel MyCash application scan and pay feature. This eliminates the need to carry cash and enables customers to conveniently transfer money to their MyCash wallet from anywhere in the world, instantly covering their grocery expenses.
The ‘Scan and Pay with MyCash’ promotion gives customers who shop at Frankie Supermarket using MyCash a chance to win $20,000 worth of prizes over the next 10 weeks.
Dubbed a great partnership, Digicel Samoa CEO, Anthony Seuseu and Frankie Supermarket General Manager, Aumua Isaia Lameko aim to enhance customer value and shopping convenience. This partnership offers exciting prizes like flat screen TVs, toasters, radios, fans, mobile phones and credit vouchers.
“We are committed to supporting our partners' success as entrepreneurs and their vital contribution to the business community,” said Anthony.
The launch was held today at the main Frankie Hypermarket in Vaitele attended by numerous shoppers and Digicel and Frankie staff. The promotion will continue for 10 weeks with prizes drawn every week.
Shoppers are encouraged to download the MyCash app for free on their mobile phones and scan the QR code at Frankie’s cashiers to pay for their shopping to be in to win.
