Digicel Fiji demonstrated its commitment to community and social responsibility with a donation to Father Law Home today which is expected to provide essential support and create a more comfortable environment for the elderly residents at the home.

Father Law Home provides crucial shelter and care for senior citizens who have no other place to turn to. Recognising the importance of supporting this vulnerable population, Digicel Fiji stepped forward to offer a donation, supplies and services to enhance the residents’ daily lives.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed, commented; “We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Father Law Home provides a vital service to our elders and we are honoured to support their mission of providing comfort and care. Seeing the smiles on the residents’ faces today reinforces our commitment to making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

The event was filled with practical support and heartfelt connection. Digicel Fiji staff members rolled up their sleeves to clean the home, creating a fresh and welcoming space. The company also provided a brush cutter for maintaining the grounds, and personalised gift packs for each resident, bringing smiles and a sense of individual care. Additionally, the residents were treated to a nourishing lunch, and there was a donation of grocery items with hygiene products and tee-shirts for each resident.

Beyond these tangible donations, Digicel Fiji also provides ongoing Sky Pacific and Unwired services, ensuring the residents have access to entertainment and connectivity.
