Digicel Nauru gifts data worth $30,000 to people living with disabilities
Digicel Nauru is helping to bridge the digital divide for people living with disabilities (PLD), donating a total of $30,000 worth of data to 130 Digicel customers who are living with a disability. The individuals who will receive the data will be randomly selected by the Department of People Living with Disabilities.
Individuals who are selected will receive 20GB of data every month for the next 12 months.
Digicel Nauru CEO, Christopher Manaog announced the gift of data with the representative of the local organisation, People Living with Disabilities (PLD), Reanna Adam.
“Digicel Nauru continues its commitment to community well-being with our fifth-year gift of data to individuals living with a disability. It also aligns with our campaign ‘Giving You MORE’ as we believe in fostering inclusivity, equality and giving back. This gift of data can help to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities, aligning with our core values,” Manaog said.
