Suva, Fiji – Monday, 12 August 2024

Digicel Fiji is thrilled to announce exclusive live coverage of all twelve matches from the highly anticipated Rugby Championship, with the first two held last weekend, and coverage of all matches from the Pacific Nations Cup starting next week.

Rugby fans are in for a treat as a packed calendar of international matches, club competitions, and iconic tours promises to deliver non-stop excitement. The Autumn International Tests in November will see the Flying Fijians battle it out against Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, while the Southern Hemisphere powerhouses – Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, and Argentina – face off against the ever-improving Northern Hemisphere teams.

The domestic leagues are also brimming with talent. The Premiership and Top 14 will be available live on Sky Pacific and boast a stellar lineup of players, including numerous Fijian stars. Flying Fijians captain, Waisea Nayacalevu has moved from the French Top 14 to play for Sale Sharks in the Premiership. At the same time, number eight Viliame Mata will stay at Bristol and prop Eroni Mawi is at Saracens.

Fiji Sevens silver medallist at the recent Olympic Games, Josaia Raisuqe is a star attraction in the French Top 14 competition at Castres alongside Flying Fijians fullback Vilimoni Botitu. Other Fijian players in the French Top 14 are Peniasi Dakuwaqa at Stade Francais, Peceli Yato in Clermont, Levani Botia in La Rochelle, Semi Radradra in Lyon and blockbusting wingers Josua Tuisova and Vinaya Habosi in Racing 92.

Sky Pacific is also thrilled to announce live broadcast of the Six Nations. As rugby enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the upcoming British & Irish Lions tour, a once-in-a-decade spectacle, the excitement for the sport continues to soar.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed, said; “We are delighted to bring all international rugby games live on Sky Pacific.
